He is survived by: his father Henry Edward Oliver; his wife Meg Oliver; his children, Carter Herndon (Mike), Wells Oliver (Angela Hearne) and Langdon Oliver (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Archer Herndon, OJ Herndon, Chase Oliver and Kairi Oliver.
