She was predeceased by: her brother Michael Reecer. She is survived by: her significant other Greg Deathridge; her parents, Joe Reecer and Mable Reecer; her sister Mechelle; her brother-in-law Nechie Woodard; her nieces, Nikki (Keith James) and Cierra (Justin Duffer); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joanna, Khalin, Ryker, Soleil, Dax, Knox and Rogan.
Melinda was passionate about donating to St. Jude, and the family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's in memory of Melinda.
