She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Demby and Brenda Demby. She is survived by: her husband Eric S. Slater; her daughter Caitlin; her sister Jacqueline Demby-Greenberg; her brother-in-law Andrew Greenberg; her mother-in-law Barbara Slater; her siblings-in-law, Andrew Slater and Jill Slater; and her aunt Rita Wein. She is also survived by four nieces.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the National Memorial Park (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042).
