She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Staples (Lash); and her stepfather William Staples. She is survived by: her husband Stephen; her children, Alexandra Straub, Jacob Straub and Max Straub; her grandchildren, Isla Dramby and Nikolas Dramby; and her pets, Lucy, Ricky and Sassy.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sweetwater Tavern (14250 Sweetwater Ln, Centreville, VA 20121).
