He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruby; his parents, Rufus Fletcher and Garnie Nuckles Fletcher; his siblings, Omer Fletcher, Ralph Fletcher, Harold Fletcher, Ken Fletcher, Lou Owenby, Agnes Deel and Edith McClanahan Bill; and his sons, William Barry Fletcher (Anita) of Norfolk, VA, Lonnie David Fletcher (Marianne) of Smithfield, VA, Michael Ayers Fletcher (Laura Dimple) of Cedar Bluff, VA and Douglas Mark Fletcher (Tara) of Chesapeake, VA.. He was also cherished by Nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of family friends.

The family request that donations be made in Bill's honor to the Hill Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 248, Richlands, VA 24641.
