He is survived by: his sons, J. R. Absher (Kay) of Pounding Mill, VA and Mike Absher of Cliffield, VA; his siblings, Ruby Hylton of Pounding Mill, VA, Doris Davis of Pounding Mill, VA, Darrell Absher of Tazewell, VA and Charlie Absher of Pounding Mill, VA; his grandson Barry Absher (Carlene) of Cedar Bluff, VA; his brothers, John Absher (Connie) of Pounding Mill, VA and Josh Absher (Robin) of Pounding Mill, VA; his granddaughter Courtni Shortt (B. J. Keen) of Cliffield, VA; his great grandchildren, Jake Absher (Morgan), Tate Shortt, Landon Absher, Brady Absher, Grayson Onate (Javier), Reagan Absher and Emma Absher; his stepgreat-grandsons, Colton Keen and Avery Keen; his great great grandchild Nash Onate; and his caregivers, Sandra Johnson and Ann Adkins. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.
