Shirley Ann Herndon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Herndon of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Wells and Maude Boyd Wells; her husband Ira W. "Artie" Herndon; and her siblings, Estelle Vernon, Jettie Wilson, Ethel Schultz, Grace Compton, Virgie Miller, Myrtle Wells, Jenny Wells, Gladis Wells, Joseph Carter, Martin Wells, Earl Wells, Roy Wells, Oakley Wells and Walter Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Mabe (Ronnie) of Rock Hill, SC and Tim Herndon of Cedar Bluff, VA; her brother Carter Wells (Margie); her grandchildren, Jennifer S. Mabe of Rock Hill, SC and Joshua Brack Mabe (Heather) of Chicago, IL; and her great grandchild Abigail Marin Walker of Rock Hill, SC.
