He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrd Cole and Okie Cole; and his siblings, Cretta Gillman, Rufus, Raymond "Bo" and Ralph Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Cole; his children, Scott Cole (Keshia) and Beth Garrett (Jim); his brother Rex Cole (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Aimee Corbett (Taylor), Josh Ringstaff and Channing Cole; and his great grandchildren, Bryn Corbett and Witten Corbett.
