It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patty Bernice Lester (Cedar Bluff, Virginia), born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lester and Pansy Lester; her sisters, Lisa Sluss and Phyllis Lester; and her nephew David Webb.
She is survived by: her son James Dye, Jr. (Terri) of Richlands, VA; her grandchildren, Taylor Dye, Samara Arms of Richlands, VA and Brittany Dye of Paintlick, VA; and her siblings, Johnny Lester, Bill Lester (Cathy), Jane Boyd (Ann Adkins) and Tippy (Gracie).
As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Commonwealth of Virginia Mandate, only 25 people are allowed at one time in the funeral home. Facial coverings and social distancing are required at all times.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for expenses.
