She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ashlei Mathews of Roanoke, VA and Ryan VanDyke (Sarah Dotson); her great grandchildren, Savannah Boyd (Brandon) of Raven, VA, Tyler Mathews of Raven, VA and Alexis Mathews; her great great grandchildren, Grey Crowder of Raven, VA and Mia Boyd of Raven, VA; her children-in-law, Vanessa Simmons of Roanoke, VA and Jerry Kennedy of Cedar Bluff, VA; and her siblings, Betty Hinkle, Hermas Ball (Anita) of Colfax, NC and Raleigh Ball (Lynn) of Pinehurst, NC..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
