We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2021, at the age of 89, Mavis Horne of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Maze and Nannie Lowe Horn; her daughter Linda Kay Horne Boyd; and her siblings, Loma Boyd, Hazel Boyd, Elsie Childress, Margaret Endicott, Otis and Beverly Horne.
She is survived by: her husband Ira C. Horne; her daughter Joyce Ann Greeley (Wesley) of Salem, Alabama.; her brother James Alfred Horne (Ruth) of Cedar Bluff, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Lesley Bruner, Kahla Ratliff Hale, Caleb Ratliff, Katie Lynn Beacham, Nathan Greeley, Ethan Gabriel Ratliff, Charity Yantis and Jonathan Luke Ratliff; and her great grandchildren, Preston Ratliff, Devon Ratliff, Kristan Hale, Madison Hale, Emerson Hann, Branson Hale and Silas Hale.
Grandchildren: Lesley Bruner, Kahla Ratliff Hale, Caleb Ratliff, Katie Lynn Beacham, Nathan Greeley, Ethan Gabriel Ratliff, Charity Yantis, and Jonathan Luke Ratliff.
