She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John Honaker, Jr.; her nephew Anthony Hess; her aunts, Mamie Compton and Waldene Ball; her husband Reverend Monte Elswick; her mother Betty Dale; her children, Jonathan Elswick (Rebekkah), Joni Meadows (Thomas) and Carrie Elswick (Jarrod Wilson); her grandchildren, Kevin Meadows, Hannah Meadows (Levi Bostic), Andrea Elswick and Olive Wilson; her great grandchildren, Ryder, Nolan and Ivy; her siblings, Susie Honaker, Rick Honaker, Tim Honaker, Ted Stevens and Reverend Matthew Dale; her mother-in-law Icy Whitt; and her sister-in-law Kathy McGowan (James). She was also cherished by many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Funeral Services will be private at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA with Rev. Larry Brooks officiating.
