It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Frye of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, born in Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John William Frye, Sr.; his brother Ernest Weimer Frye; and his stepbrother William Charles Ruoff. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Frye Ruoff; his wife Sara Dickens Frye; his children, Jason Allen Frye and Lindsay Ann Frye; his grandchildren, Boston Michael Frye, Ella Kate Frye and Eli Edward Frye; his stepdaughter Ashley Nicole Rose (Douglas Ward); his stepfather William D. Ruoff; his brother Mark Edward Frye; his stepsisters, Lori Ruoff Joyce and Suzanne Ruoff; his nephew Ernest Weimer Smith; and his aunts and uncles, Andrew Frye, Jr., Mary Frye, Paul Frye, Carl Edward Weimer, Jr. and Margaret Weimer Boor.
