He is survived by: his wife Emma Webb Baldwin Absher; his stepdaughters, Kathy Whitt Lester (Otis) and Lisa "Baby Girl" Shaver (Dennis); his stepdaughter-in-law Anita Baldwin; his siblings, Joe Absher (Dollie), Wayne Absher (Aletta), Coy Absher (Effie), Larry Absher (Carol), Karen Johnson (Danny) and Lois Osborne (Tom); and his stepgrandchildren, Heather Stillwell (Michael), Ashley Nahamko (Nick), Justin Baldwin (Emily) and Derrick Shaver. He is also survived by four step great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
