He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Watson and Grace Brown Watson; his wife Mavis Geraldine Watson; his daughter Bobbie Lynn Watson; and his siblings, Gene "Greek" Watson, Danny Watson, Arnold "Sparky" Watson and Ruth Marshall.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Watson and Peggy Combs; his nephews, Jim Marshall and Chris Perkins; his brother-in-law Glenn Altizer; and his close friend Brenda Whited. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews.
