With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henley Leslie Altizer of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, born in Jewell Ridge, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Henley Leslie Altizer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Altizer and Della Day Altizer; and his wife Helen "Michie" Altizer. He is survived by: his children, Susan Ball (Bobby) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Karen Newberry (Ken) of Wytheville, VA and Michael Altizer (Judy) of Cedar Bluff, VA; and his siblings, R. B. Altizer (Glenda), Jenny Smith, Kate Honaker and Sadie Mackey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
