He was predeceased by: his father George M. Vandyke; his siblings, J. B. Vandyke and Christine Gross; and his brothers-in-law, Jessee and Danny Whitt.
He is survived by: his wife Judy P. VanDyke; his children, Emilee Horn (Jeremy) of Richlands, VA. and Hope Littrell (Justin) of Lebanon, VA.; his grandchildren, Gavin Littrell, Landin Littrell, Adalee Littrell and Ivin Littrell; his mother-in-law Edna Peak of Cedar Bluff, VA.; his siblings, Mack VanDyke (Norma) of North Tazewell, VA., Mona Osborne (John) of Christiansburg, VA. and Kathie Osborne of Penhook, VA.; and his sister-in-law Peggy Whitt of Richlands, VA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
