She was predeceased by: her husband Arlin Dennis Matney; her parents, Claude Alley and Mary Alley; and her siblings, Kathleen Gaylord, Alpha Gay Dales and Worley Alley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Matney Smith (Kenneth) of Roanoke, VA and Alicia Matney Caldwell of Blue Ridge, VA; her granddaughter Ashlie Caldwell Santolla (Zachary); her sister Vella Alley Ray; and her nephew Timothy Alley. She is also survived by her husband, her daughters and her only granddaughter.
The family requests masks be worn at all times due to the COVID Pandemic.
