He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Sparks and Mary Margaret Bays Sparks; and his wife Effie Louise Patrick Sparks. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Sparks of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by one sister, two brothers, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
