He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra "Silas" Maze Horn and Helen Irene McKinney; his former wife Dorothy Mae Horn; his siblings, Joyce Moses, Larry Horn and Scotty Horn; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Goodman.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Irene Houchins (James) of Farmville, VA, Gary Maze Horn, Jr. of Sevierville, TN and James Marshall Goodman of Cedar Bluff, VA.; his close friend Nancy Alsbrook; his siblings, Darlene Coleman of Pounding Mill, VA and Clark Horn (Judy) of Pounding Mill, VA.; and his grandchildren, Bobby Goodman (Christy), Cody Houchins, Martina Horn, Gary Maze Horn, III and Shawn Goodman (Danielle).
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (24522 US-19, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609).
