It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Furley L. C. Hubbard of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett Hardy and Anna Faye Byrd Hubbard; his brothers, J. E. Hubbard and Lyndon Hubbard; his parents-in-law, Mason and Annie Lowe; his siblings-in-law, Calvin Horton, Mike Burkey, James Elswick and Mary Ann Hubbard; and his sons-in-law, Jerry Lambert and Tom Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lowe Hubbard; his children, Anna Hubbard Lambert Robinson, Nancy Carol Prater (Clifton Lane), Garnett Hubbard (Laura) and Mason Hubbard (Tracie); his grandchildren, Timothy Lambert (Maribel), Matthew Lambert, Nathanael Lambert (Moon), Samuel Lee Lambert (Kim), Justin Hubbard, Garnett Hubbard, Jr. (Tori), Michael Hubbard, Marissa Prater, Rachella Deskins (Shawn), Bethany Prater, Andrew Hubbard (Breanna), Macie Hubbard and Ashton Hubbard; and his siblings, Alan Hubbard (Delvina), Mary Burkey and Carol Elswick. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
