It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Richard Keene of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Keene and Agnes White Keene; his significant other Elaine Keene; and his siblings, Edna Engold, Mildred Hall, Elbert Keene, Lloyd Keene, Harold Keene and William Keene.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Smith of Abingdon, VA and Ritchie Keene (Carolyn) of Cedar Bluff, VA.; his siblings, Evelyn Berrier (Chuck) of Browns Summitt, NC. and Jack Keene (Jeanette) of Lebanon, VA; his grandchildren, Molly B. Steffey (Ryan) of Austinville, VA, Katie Smith of Denver, CO, Clayton Smith (Autumn) of Elk Garden, VA, Aaron Keene of Belfast, VA and Ian Keene of Belfast, VA; and his great grandchildren, Damon Smith and Waylon Smith.
