She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Wilson and Carrie Ball Wilson; and her husband Joseph Sherman Johnson. She is survived by: her children, J. C. Johnson (Julie), Danny Johnson (Angie), Scottie Johnson (Lori), Deanis Altizer, Lorene Counts and JoAnn Ester (James). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral service will be held at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA with Pastor J. C. Johnson officiating.
