He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne Nelson (Danny) and Becky Akers (Mike); his grandchildren, Chris Sparks, Justin Sparks and Kelsey Akers; his stepgrandson Andrew Nelson; his brothers, Ira Lum Coleman (Mary Ann), Roger Coleman (Darlene), Ronnie Coleman (Kelly), Kenneth Coleman (Patsy) and Perry Coleman (Drema); and his pet Whiskey.
