She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Blankenship and Roxie Dye Blankenship Silcox; her husband Homer S. Alley; her daughter Keitha Yates; her siblings, Ralph Blankenship and Pauline Miller; and her niece Carolyn Lester.
She is survived by: her children, Karen G. Brown (Gene) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Dr. Teresa Alley Yearout of North Tazewell, VA, Rhonda Earls (Thomas Tate) of Wytheville, VA and Michael Alley (Kathy) of Cedar Bluff, VA; her son-in-law Mickey Yates of Cedar Bluff, VA.; her grandchildren, Amanda Brown Lane, Adam Brown, Craig Earls, Amber Earls, Rachel Alley Hairston, Hannah Alley, Matthew Yates and Halee Yates Horn; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, C. J., Crew, Gannon, BreAnna and Ellie.
As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Commonwealth of Virginia Mandate, only 25 people are allowed at one time in the funeral home. Facial coverings and social distancing are required at all times.
