With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald McGlothlin (Cedar Bluff, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McGlothlin and Eva Talbert McGlothlin; and his sister Tina Helmandollar (James "Jim"). He is survived by: his wife Rita Vandyke McGlothlin; his children, Donald McGlothlin, Jr. (Mary Kay McGlothlin), Shelly McGlothlin (Brandi), Hayden McGlothlin and Camden McGlothlin; his siblings, Tim McGlothlin (Denise Homa McGlothlin) and Carol Cornwell (William "Bill" Cornwell); his grandchild Hollie Schehl (Kevin Cole); his sisters, Amanda Konalke (Justin) and Sarah Baker; and his pet Peppey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Singleton Funeral and Cremation Service (1116 Cedar Valley Dr, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
