He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Deel and Zetta Deel; and his grandparents, Roland (Pappy), Ida Deel, Hugh and Margie Sword.

He is survived by: his former wife Karen Deel; his daughters, Jocelyn Deel and Jessica Turner (Garon); his grandchildren, Donovan Deel, Benson Turner and Bentley Turner; his brother Jerry Wayne Deel; and his close friend Condle Whitt.
