He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde Griffey and Opal Bernice Slone Griffey; and his sister Rebecca Jane Griffey. He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Laney (Nathan), Chaderick Griffey (Amber) and Chandler Griffey (Keyla); his grandchildren, William Griffey, Adriannah Griffey, Kameron Griffey, Madison Griffey, Vanessa Griffey, Zoey Griffey, Conner Griffey, Terrah Keen, Alaina Laney, Lucas Laney, Taitley Griffey, Destiney Varney, Dixie Varney and Sarah Harris (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Asher Harris and Saylor Harris; and his brother Peam William "Timmy" Griffey (Glenda).
