She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Sword and Maudie Ray Sword; and her husband Mack Rife. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Rife Buchanan of Tazewell, Virginia and Tom W. Rife of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; and her sister Ruth Rhea of Mansfield.
