She was predeceased by: her fathers, Carl Ratliff and Edgar Horn Ratliff; her brothers, Bueford Ratliff and Jimmy "Arnold" Ratliff; and her brothers-in-law, Rages Matney, Scotty Lambert, Rondal Parks and Basil Matney.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher Craig Howington of Abingdon, VA and Monica Suzette Simmons (John) of Pounding Mill, VA; her grandchildren, Reagan Albert, Renae Garrett, Christa Stuemke, Isabella Albert, Christopher Howington, II, Pippa-Sage Simmons and Everton Simmons; her great grandchild Ezekiel Stuemke; her siblings, Marie Matney of Richlands, VA, Phyllis Matney of Oakwood, VA, Martha Lambert of Cedar Bluff, VA, Jan White (Jerry) of Richlands, VA, Doris Parks of Oakwood, VA and Arvil Ratliff (Zella) of Oakwood, VA; her sister-in-law Gail Ratliff of Patterson, VA; and her friends, Pat and Brian Martin.
