She was predeceased by: her husband James Leroy Hughes; her parents, Robert Asbury, Sr. and Lillian Asbury; and her siblings, Robert Asbury, Jr. and Helen Lingle.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Hughes of Pounding Mill and Ricky Hughes (Angela) of Abingdon; her grandchildren, Josh Hughes, Amber Hughes Sinclair, Sheilah Giles and Christina Branch; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Caitlyn, Sydney, Laci and Carter. She is also survived by many friends, family, and caregivers including the nurses.
