We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2019, at the age of 83, William Edward Rose Sr. (Catlett, Virginia), born in Grundy, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rose and Mary Rose; his wife Mary Ellen Rose; his brothers, James, Jack, Gene and Bobby Rose; and his granddaughter Crystal Rose.

He is survived by: his children, William E. Rose, Jr. (Cheryl) of Catlett, VA, Leonard R. Rose, Barbara E. Duncan, Richard Caplinger of Bealeton, VA and Richard A. Rose (Rhonda) of West Virginia; and his siblings, Donnie, Jerry Rose (Geraldine), Betty Boardwine, Sherlene Duncan and Judy Murdith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
