She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herbert Zimbro and Hettie Mae Wyant; her husband Walker A. Abel; and her siblings, Lucille Shifflett, Welta Zimbro, George Zimbro, James Zimbro and Virgie Mitchell.
She is survived by: her son Walker L. Abel (Dawn) of Catlett; her grandchildren, Walker Jr. (Brittany) of Catlett John and Cody Williams of Culpeper; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kaylee and Joslyn.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Catlett Methodist Cemetery (3500 Catlett Rd, Catlett, VA 20119).
