He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Pelham and Douglas Pelham; and his siblings, Helen Law, Dorothy Harrod, Mary Snead, Rosa Strother, Eleanor Lewis, Lawrence Pelham and Charles Douglas Pelham.
He is survived by: his pet Money; his niece Carolyn; his daughter Barbara Thompson; his wife Joyce Pelham; his children, Girard Thompson (Delores) and Victoria Thompson (Ron); his grandchildren, Adrienne Thompson, John Thompson Sr. (Shanay), Albert Moore, Larry Moore, Cloressa Brown and Chandra Betts; his great grandchildren, Jaden Pelham, Tayvon Pelham, Blaze Brown, Jasmine Thompson, John Thompson Jr. and Larry Moore III; his great great grandchild Autumn; his godson Michael Edwards; his siblings, Betty Jean Murray, Eileen Marie Leadbetter and James Pelham (Lucy); and his brothers-in-law, Dwight Thompson (Earlene) and Daniel Thompson (Ellen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
