He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Mitchell and Panna Ruth Casteel Blevins; and his siblings, Palmer Blevins, Lonnie Blevins, Allen Blevins, David Blevins, Rader Blevins, Beulah Hamm and Esther Shepard.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Blevins; his children, Mandy Castle (Jeff) and Chris Blevins (Ashley); his granddaughters, Brittney Horne, Candace Castle and Alyssa Castle; his great grandchildren, Ashtyn Horne, Mollie Horne and Jasper Strange Castle; and his sisters, Shirley Hamilton and Judy Berry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
