He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wright and Della Wright; his son William Douglas Wright; his siblings, Carl, Andrew, David Wright and Lilly Belle Trent; and his son-in-law Dewey Salyer.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Wright; his children, Rebecca Evans (James) of Boonville, Joetta Wright (Stephen Angles) of Bluefield, Karen Whitney (Greg) of Boonville, Jennifer Salyer of Abingdon, Virginia and Jerry Wayne Wright (Kim) of Castlewood, Virginia; and his siblings, Linda Skeens (Frank) of Castlewood, Virginia and Sammy Wright (Roxanne) of Chandler, Indiana. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
