Virginia Mae Vance Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024, Virginia Mae Vance (Castlewood, Virginia), born in Dickenson County, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Preston Vance; her parents, Nelson White Kaylor and Mary Jane Kaylor; and her siblings, Melvina Davis, Alma Frances Ring, Mildred Marie Skeens, Mary Sue Mullins, Robert Lee Kaylor and William Franklin Kaylor.

She is survived by: her children, David Vance (Herlin) of Coeburn, Kathy Gilliam (Mack) of Snowflake and Walter Vance (Becky) of Roanoke, Virginia; her grandchildren, Nelson Vance, Walter Charles Vance, Jennifer Hill, Sara Baranauskas, Spencer Smith and Tanner Vance; and her great grandchildren, Mabel, Annabelle, Hazel, Naomi, Henry, Emmeline, Amelia, Maude and Bennett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
