We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2023, at the age of 87, Virginia Ilene Mays Boyd (Castlewood, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leonard Franklin Mays and Mary Steffey Mays; and her husband Bobby Lee Boyd, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Bobby Lee Boyd, Jr. (Glenda Blevins Boyd) of Abingdon, Virginia; her grandchildren, Bobby Lee Boyd, III (Bobbi) of Jacksonville, Christopher Boyd (Megan) of Beckley, Timothy Boyd (Suzanne) of Lebanon, Virginia, Melissa Boyd (Nicholas Stidham) of Bristol and Sarah Boyd Bright (Matthew); and her nieces, Carolyn Karrigan of Castlewood and Lois Taylor of Bristol, Virginia. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
