He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Thomas and Myrtle Mullins Culbertson; his son Timothy Culbertson; and his grandson James Thomas "TJ" Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Ervin Culbertson; his children, Arthur Culbertson (Janice) of Warrenton and Gloria Kearns of Castlewood, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Crystal Germain, Angela Kearns, Kelsey Goodnight of Timothy, Lauren Campbell and Tanner Gerndt. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
