He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Powers of Hickory and Brooke Shockley of Hickory; his siblings, Diane Arney (Terry) of Castlewood, Tammy Evans (Sput) of St. Paul, Shirley Ann Mann (Jack) of Florida, Lois Johnston of Defiance, Ohio, Barry Powers (Aundra) of Castlewood and Wayne Powers (Marsha) of Glade Spring, Virginia; and his close friends, Michael Bradley and Shannon Long. He is also survived by four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
