She was predeceased by: her father Henry Castle; her husband Jacob Junior "Bubby" Townes, Jr.; and her sister Jean Castle. She is survived by: her children, Cassie Townes (Brandon Ingle) of Castlewood, Virginia, Terri Townes of Castlewood, Virginia, Jacob Townes (Terri) of Castlewood, Dwayne Townes (Kayla) of Castlewood and Clinton Townes of Castlewood, Virginia; her mother Irene Owens of Castlewood, Virginia; her brother Junior Castle (Shirley) of North Carolina; her nephews, Justin Castle, Timothy Castle and Michael Owens; and her niece Heather Castle. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
