With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Teresa Ann Brooks of Castlewood, Virginia, born in Dante, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sutherland and Beulah Marie Turner Sutherland; her grandsons, Mason and Kasyn Rose; and her brother Bobby Sutherland.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Brooks; her daughter Kassi Brooks Rose (Michael) of Wise, Virginia; her grandchildren, Maddox Rose and Maycee Rose; her stepgrandchild Mykaya Rose; and her siblings, Judy McCoy (Ivory) of St. Paul, Kathy Marshall (Jackie) of St. Paul, Melissa Sutherland Johnson (Ted) of Graham, Karen Steffey (Brian) of Clintwood, Virginia and Henry Sutherland (Darlene) of St. Paul, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
