Sylvia Bryant Chafin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Bryant Chafin of Castlewood, Virginia, who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Moscow Bryant and Pinkie Beavers Bryant; her husband Clarence Chafin; her grandson Christopher Chafin; and her siblings, Woodrow, Stuart, Hansel, Sam, Jess, Charles, Willard Bryant, Estelle Hicks, Janie Kilbourne and Magaline Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela "Jack" (William Addison) of Lenoir City, Evelyn "Sissy" Price of Castlewood, Virginia, Allen Chafin (Pattie) of Loudon and Eddie Chafin of Lenoir City, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Ashley Hall (Henry) of Castlewood, Alex Chafin (Christina) of Rockwood and Sabrina Chafin of Rockwood, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Aryan Chafin, Brooklyn Chafin and Statham Hall; her brother L. C. Bryant (Nellie) of Castlewood, Virginia; and her sister-in-law Nancy Bryant of Creedmoor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
