She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Dutton and Hazel Mullins Dutton; and her grandparents, Ervie and Katerria Dutton. She is survived by: her husband Larry Salyers; her children, Becky Salyers (Andrew Jessee) of Abingdon, Nancy Perry (Charlie) of Castlewood, Virginia and Matthew Salyers (Jody) of Castlewood, Virginia; her half-sisters, Kim Fields (Wayne) of Castlewood and Pam Dutton of Wise, Virginia; her brother Kerby Dutton of Marion, Ohio; her half-brothers, Randy Dutton of Abingdon, Virginia and Willie Dutton of Abingdon, Virginia; her stepmother Peggy Dutton of Castlewood, Virginia; and her close friend Missy Hicks. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Graveside Services and Interment for Sondra Kay Salyers will be conducted at 2:00 p. m. Monday, March 15, 2021, in the Chapel of Love Mausoleum at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Ted Phillips officiating.
