It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry Lynn Lyttle of Castlewood, Virginia, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her in-laws, Thomas H. and Irene Lyttle. She is survived by: her husband Jim Lyttle; her daughter Shiloh Lyttle Brooks; her son-in-law Travis Brooks; her father Dale Stout (Janet); her sisters, Valice Tony, Lois Salyers, Andrea Jaquess (Ryan), Angela Richardson (Mike), Jennifer Moore (Scotty) and Courtney Salyer; her brother-in-law Walter Lyttle (Mary); and her pet Spooky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Service (7 Tate Ave, Lebanon, VA 24266). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church Hill Methodist Church (112 Church Hill Rd, Lebanon, VA 24266).
In memory of Sherry's love and devotion to children and education, the family has created the "Sherry Lyttle Memorial Fund" which will be dedicated to helping students in need from Lebanon High School.
