She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hughes and Barbara Mullin Hughes; and her children, Tammy Powers and Gene Nickles. She is survived by: her children, Missy Nickles of Honaker, Virginia, Pat Nickles of Castlewood, Franklin Nickles of Castlewood and James Morgan of Kingsport, Tennessee; and her brother Jimmy Hughes of Coeburn, Virginia. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
