We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Samuel Stephen Banner of Castlewood, Virginia, born in Radford, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Houston and Frances Williams Banner. He is survived by: his wife Rita Jo Ring Banner; his children, William "Hank" Banner (Bridget) of Castlewood, Virginia and Robin Banner (Diane) of Knoxville, Tennessee; his sister Becky Robertson (Reggie) of Clemons; and his granddaughter Brooke Banner. He is also survived by three nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, a Private Funeral Service for Samuel Stephen "Steve" Banner will be conducted in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Woody Scott and Randy Williams officiating.
