He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Edward and Georgia Lea Hill McGee; the mother of his children Betty Lou McGee; and his grandson Robbie Edward McGee. He is survived by: his wife Patti-Jo McGee; his daughter Rhonda Lea McGee of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Heather Drake (Cody Harrison) of Bowling Green and Rhyli Ann Drake of St. Paul, Virginia; his son Ronnie Edward McGee of Castlewood, Virginia; his great grandchild Rhiannon Harrison; his siblings, Nancy Nelson (Steve) of Charleston and James McGee (Peggy) of Houston, Texas; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Chambers (Jason) of Elizabethton, David Tinsley (Vickey) of Elizabethton, Russel Tinsley (Rebecca) of Fort Monroe, Kenny Tinsley (Sheena) of Bluff City and Josie Bianchi (Nick) of Bluff City, Tennessee; his children, Ashley Hampton (Missy), Josh Hampton (Lindsey), Christina Silvers (Andrew) and Dustin Hampton (Lindsey Holt); and his cousin Bobby Hill (Bernice). He is also survived by grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Ronnie Lee McGee will be conducted at 2:00 p. m. Monday, November 2, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Woody Scott and Rev. Marvin Cain officiating.
