He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Dingus and Goldie Ramsey Dingus; and his pet Sophie. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ervin Dingus; his brother Larry Dingus (Linda) of Castlewood, Virginia; his nephew Brent Dingus (Donna) of Castlewood, Virginia; his son Jay Johnson (Penny); his adoptive daughter Jessica Patrick; his grandson Cody Mullens; and also, Ethan and Zoe. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 regulations set by the CDC of no more than 10 people gathering at a time, the Dingus family will have a private funeral service for Robert Wayne Dingus at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, April 25, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Leonard Ferguson officiating.
