He was predeceased by: his parent N. C. Meade; and his son Jackson Christopher Meade. He is survived by: his parent Agnes Castle Meade; his wife Brenda Meade; his siblings, Irene Salyer of Kingsport, Tennessee, Donald Meade and Roger Meade of Kingsport, Tennessee; his daughter-in-law Shirley Meade of Wise County, Virginia; and his granddaughter Desiree Meade of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
